At the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games British Swimming acheived arguably its best-ever Olympic results, including two women's gold medals; their first in 48 years. Bill has been afforded significant credit for this outstanding achievement.

Bill has conducted many extensive world-wide consultancies and international lectures in both the corporate and sporting worlds. While Bill has a confidentiality agreement with most corporate organizations he works with, he has consulted and worked with the national bodies of Singapore, Spain, New Zealand, Argentina, Hong Kong, Australia, Thailand, Mexico, Italy, Ireland and the United States of America.
